Victoria has channelled her historical expertise into a wide variety of consultancy projects with organisations such as Royal Mail, the Imperial War Museum, the RAF Benevolent Fund, the BBC, a host of individual historians, journalists, and even historical graphic novelists. Most recently, she served as a onscreen expert, historical researcher & assistant producer on Series 11 of ‘Air Warriors’ - the Smithsonian Channel’s flagship airpower television series.

Victoria is experienced in compiling dedicated case files of both primary and secondary historical research so as to provide her clients with the most detailed context as possible for their unique projects. In addition, she has been a peer reviewer for Nacelles, provides editorial assistance to the popular scholarly airpower forum ‘From Balloons to Drones’, and sits on the Editorial Board for the Royal Aeronautical Society’s Journal of Aeronautical History.

She is also part of RAeS’ ‘Aeronautical Heritage Specialist Group’ and serves as the Project Historian for Spitfire AA810 - a cross-party initiative to restore an original Photographic Reconnaissance Unit Spitfire to the skies ( https://www.spitfireaa810.co.uk/ ). In 2022, she was made a ‘Spitfire Ace’ Ambassador with the National Spitfire Project, which aims to complete fundraising for the erection of a Spitfire monument in Southampton ( https://nationalspitfiremonument.com/ ). She was also recently made an Associate of the Freeman Air and Space Institute based at the School of Security Studies at King’s College London.
